yes you!!!!

ok i seldom (or never) use full caps in my titles, but you guys gotta help me out here with a couple of things.

INPUT NEEDED #1:

My website (including this blog) will be revamped REALLY soon, my designer and programmer are starting the initial concept work as we speak, so NOW is a good time to tell me what you really hate or like about my website and what you think can work well.

We all know, great images just splattered over the screen with no apparent thought given to it just isn’t enough. =P

Also the launch of the new website will also come with a very big announcement. so look out for that. very exciting times ahead.

INPUT NEEDED #2:

I’m thinking of where I should go for an August 2009 Overseas bridal promotion. So i’m gonna do this: I’m going to let the first couple book me for their location of choice (have to put fine print here: upon approval by me – usually places i have not been, which is alot, will have more chance of approval!) and make that location the promo for August!

Why is this good? because for the first couple, they will get to go to that special location (say, Prague) without having to pay “one off ala-carte” rates, which are much higher than under a promo.

A few things about promos that i do, for overseas bridals:

- i do not have a “min couples to go” before it’s a go ahead. if ONE couple books, i AM going – altho i probably won’t make alot of money. that’s as honest as i’ll be.

- i do a 2 day shoot. reason is that we don’t want to fly all the way to some place to have such a tight schedule that when that day has bad weather, we have no room to move. Also, most of the time, one day is more for “romantic/mood” type bridal shots, and another could be for casual/fun type shots. also, 2 day shoots means we can cater one day to travel out of town and still have enough time to get alottttt of nice shots (for example, the 12 apostles along great ocean road in victoria is 4 hours away from melbourne city).

- i almost always have more than one photographer with me, because the assistant that i bring usually will double up as a second photographer, so you get more angles covered. please talk to me in person, about how comical i can be with my couples while posing them or just chatting/being an idiot, but am unable to shoot that shot because i’m being a clown, and the moment is gone! this second person will be invaluable in capturing such moments (michael are you listening? ahhaha). one caveat to this is that, as mentioned above, if only one couple books, it’s very unlikely that i have the budget to bring a second guy along….. which sux becos i have to carry my own bag and we don’t have that second angle anymore.

so, in short, i need YOU to tell me how much u hate my website now and how it can be perfect, AND, tell me where you want to go in aug 2009! email me and i can give u a rough idea of the charges for your choice destination.

and as a reminder, i am going to melbourne in march, and my paris/santorini promo will likely to be pushed to april.
