Expressively jOhO and William Chua Photography have a joint promotion for bridal shoots in Santorini and Paris in August 2008.

Thought it would be nice to put faces to the two who are gonna make great images come August!

FAQ for the package:

Q: Have you ever been to Santorini, let alone shot bridals there?
A: Nope, never been close to the place.

Q: Then how can you be so sure you can shoot well when you haven’t been there?
A: I shoot well when I go to 3rm HDB flats that I’ve never been to for AD weddings… so I’m guessing Santorini shouldn’t be a problem. =P

Q: Will you be going to other places besides Santorini?
A: This is up for discussion, for example, we (and you or anyone) would have to go through Athens to get to the islands, so a shoot in Athens as well (or instead) can also be considered. We have also got inquiries for shoots in neighbouring countries, Italy being relatively close by, which can be discussed.

Q: I understand it’s common practice for such promotions to have a minimum number of couples to go before the promo will go ahead, is this promotion like that too, and if so, what is the minimum?
A: We will still be at Santorini regardless of how many couples sign with us; there is no minimum. In fact, we are about to book our tickets already, so if anyone knows of any promos for flights do let me know! Emirates is looking good, SQ is looking expensive…. BA will go through London and it’ll take us 24 hours to get to Athens….

Q: Make up / hair how?
A: No idea, this one KIV, package does not include make up but we might fly a make up artist over (at your cost, shared by all the couples)

UPDATE 24 Feb 2008: We now can include (with top up) makeup and hair by a Singaporean professional make up artist who will be flying over with us! No need to share costs, there will be makeup and hair regardless of how many couples come with us at a fixed cost. Meaning, even if there are less couples, you pay the same for makeup and hair.

Q: Won’t it be hot in August?
A: Yeap it will be!

Q: Isn’t that bad?
A: Hot is better than cold for taking photos.. TRUST ME on this.

Q: Why two photographers?
A: We’re there on our honeymoon anyway, you guys are just the extras.

Q: Why can’t we have just one photographer and pay less?
A: Then we won’t get to spend our honeymoon together. =(

We now have ONE more slot of Paris, dates are quite specific, either 14 or 15 Aug 2008.
Slots for Santorini, August 18 or 22. More slots available after these slots are booked.

I would like to wish everyone a great new year ahead! Thanx to all the well wishes, sms, phone calls and emails!

Unfortunately I did not reply some/most of you guys as I have been back to back shooting for the last 2 weeks. 90% of smses came in when i am chasing that once in a lifetime shot, so sorry!!!! =P

The new year started with an ultra fun bridal shoot with Sean and Chloe, and i immediately took a liking to this couple because she has the same name as my future daughter, if any.

I do miss 2007, it was a great year and I achieved heaps. Looking forward to 2008 tho!!
