First off, thanks to Michael for giving me airsickness from his post below! lol…
Some of you might not realise if this is your first visit here, that this is a brand new website, and more importantly, a brand new year with brand new priorities.
First, a brief history (skip this whole paragraph if you intend to stay awake).
expressively jOhO was set up “unofficially” sometime in 2003 and I always kinda liked names that had an adjective preceding a noun. The noun part was simple, I had been known as jOhO since i had known the internet, so what was the adjective that could describe that noun? Well, I guess you now know the answer.
When it was time to get “official” the brand had already sunk in to many couples, so it was not prudent to change it. However, I registered the company under a more generic name of “EJ Photography” which is likely to be unheard of to most. But this is just boring details. The interesting part was that as the years went by, I got really busy running the show by myself, so starting this year, Michael has come on board to help me reach to more couples than I could ever by myself.
That’s not to say Michael appeared out of nowhere. We have been working together since the last 12 months, and interestingly, just the other day I met a couple who just popped a simple question, “What’s he like?”
I had to pause a little because I didn’t know which part I should be talking about. It is almost a rhetoric question that most people would reply with “He’s nice!”.
And that is what I did. He is such a nice guy, and he would be one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. He doesn’t seem to have a temper at all, and his slightly quiet demeanor seems to hint at the observations he is making around him, which is evident in his photography.
Well, being nice doesn’t take good photographs, but not being nice doesn’t get you any work! Michael is someone I am confident of, with a good mix of very undiluted merits that make him stand out in a sea of people, not only being a great addition to the company, but also contributing positively to more couples’ lives under the expressively jOhO umbrella.
Stay tuned for more updates as I try to untangle myself with the new code and admin duties of this new site. There are ongoing promos not only with our photography packages and services, but with other wedding vendors as well.
I would also like to thank Charlotte and Terrance for their dedication to get the website up, so you know who to look for when you need a website. (www.webrewz.com) For the curious, this website is totally flash free with a CMS to boot, which was one of my requirements, and they did it marvelously.
